What is Involved in Setting Up WinLimo?
WinLimo is the most flexible and complete trip reservation, dispatch and billing solution available for small taxi, paratransit, limousine and black car operators. The system comes complete with Rapid Call Taking with Trip Reservation History, Multi-Type Trip Pricing, Computer Aided Dispatch, Account Billing, Accounts Receivable and an integrated Landmark Database. Quick Books Export is also included at no extra charge.
If your organization runs between 1 and 20 vehicles, WinLimo can handle your business easily and efficiently. If your fleet is larger, then our TranWare Lite, Desktop or Enterprise systems will be able to accommodate your needs. WinLimo is provided as a hosted solution, so that you can access your WinLimo system from any PC via the internet without having to install any software on your local PC. However, using WinLimo is unlike other hosted solutions that experience slow performance and often have a clunky web browser type of interface. WinLimo is hosted on tier 1 facilities using the latest Cloud Computing architecture that allows unlimited growth in terms of our overall infrastructure. That means that as we add new customers, we can grow the hosting solution dynamically to avoid slowing performance. Secondly, we use Microsoft Remote Desktop (Terminal Server) technology so that WinLimo will run, look and feel just like a locally installed program, rather than running it in a web browser. Thirdly, WinLimo can grow with your business. At any time, you can migrate to a Desktop or Enterprise version with the additional capabilities that you need, without ever losing any of your historical data.
Once the program has been installed, then it becomes a matter of adding your specific information, such as all your drivers, vehicles, accounts and your most common rates, etc. Usually, our customers are taking orders and dispatching in only a few days. Over time, the system becomes faster and easier to use, as your most popular pickup and destination landmarks are entered into the system. With Winlimo, you only enter repetitive information once. For example, once you add the airport as a landmark, booking a trip to or from the airport is just a matter of entering the short two or three digit code that you created for the airport.
