Recommended Minimum Requirements for WinLimo Workstations

Computer with a Pentium III 500-megahertz (MHz) or higher processor.

RAM requirements are a minimum of : 128 MB of RAM, 256 MB is recommended.

Hard disk space requirements for the application are minimal and will be dependent upon the amount of data you decide to store. The minimum hard disk requirement for Tracker workstations are 3 GB of available hard disk space.

Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6 (SP6) or later or Windows 2000 Professional or later or Windows XP Professional or Windows ME or Windows 98. TranWare recommends Windows 2000 since it is more robust  than the other operating systems and ensures a high level of security, preventing users from inadvertently changing or deleting network data.  

Minimum 17" Monitor Super VGA (1064 × 768) or higher-resolution monitor with 32 bit color quality. A flat screen monitor is recommended to minimize operator glare, which causes eye fatigue.

TranWare recommends a graphics card with a minimum of 4 MB of RAM on board.

Internet browsers from Microsoft (IE 5.0 or later). TranWare also recommends that users keep their browsers updated with the latest versions.  

TranWare recommends PC Anywhere be installed on 1 workstation, to facilitate remote maintenance by both TranWare and the customer system administrator.

TranWare recommends DSL or Cable High Speed Internet access be provided over the entire Local Area Network, via a combination Firewall / Router, such as the LinkSys BEFSR41. This allows TranWare remote access to the system for remote maintenance, as well as the ability for the customer to access their system remotely for purposes of remote dispatching or administration.
